While iconic rivers such as the Colorado and the Hudson dominate national attention, the Wallkill flows quietly in the background. It is a working river, used for irrigation and hydropower, but also relied on for recreation and habitat.

Join us at Liberty View Farm for A Midsummer Night’s Dream — Unison’s 50th Anniversary Gala — set against the rolling fields and twilight skies of the Hudson Valley.

Tom and Mike will be rocking the garage with an evening of live music, improvisation, and community spirit. Bring an instrument or use one of ours and jump into the jam, or simply come listen, connect, and enjoy a great time with fellow music lovers. Garage Jam is all about making music together in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

This coming Sunday, June 14th 1PM-3PM, as part of the New Paltz Regatta, members of the ecological design collective @spurse01 including @matthewfriday68 and @iainkerr in collaboration with @carolannpaszek will host a natural dyeing workshop to build biodegradable origami boats that will carry seeds selected to stabilize eroded riverbeds. Come find us at the Carmine Liberata bridge in New Paltz!

Inspired by ancient rituals and contemporary political unrest, this workshop invites participants to sculpt small clay objects that represent a need or desire for transformative change, working in kinship with the Wallkill River and the more-than-human world.

Join us for another participatory workshop created by four artists (Kate, Tona, Gretchen and Laura) that leans directly into the politics of the present: visitors will design their own currency. At a time when even the symbols on money are subject to control and branding, this gesture asks—who gets to define value? Who signs off on what circulates?
