Mike Medeiros presents Flood Futures, made with terracotta, brick, concrete, and reclaimed industrial materials. Imagined as the science project of post-apocalyptic potter, the installation responds to climate change, flooding, post-industrial landscapes, and survival after systems fail. To embody the installation’s evolving themes, Medeiros will lead a storytelling event around the Unison Arts Wild Clay fire pits - inviting visitors to gather, share stories, and communicate across past and future on Friday, June 26 from 6:00 -8:00 PM.
Presented as part of Upstate Art Weekend and Unison’s inaugural Triennial.
