Drawing Out

Eight Saturdays, starting October 4th

11:00 am to 1:00 pm

Don’t let fear hold you back! Practice the skills of drawing from life, drawing from imagination, drawing in sequence, and drawing in collaboration; all with the constant support and guidance of two instructors working in tandem to share everything they love about the creative process. Drawing Out is visual thinking circuit training designed to build your confidence, creativity, and self trust. 

Appropriate for all skill levels, from total beginner to professional, this process-focused program will create the fertile ground from which your personal art practice will blossom. 

Drawing board, paper, and pencil required. Recommended paper - 14x17 newsprint pad.

Suggested tuition: $200 Unison members • $240 non-members.

Tom is a visual storyteller and art educator who has worked in feature film and animation for over 20 years. Kate is an illustrator and enthusiastic mark-maker who rejoices in the bugs and dirt of the Hudson Valley..

Tom and Kate draw on collaborative energy to fuel explorations of fiber arts, ceramics, plein air painting, and spontaneous play.
