Introduction to Watercolor

with Pablo Shine

Saturday, August 23th • 1:30 to 5:00 pm

This 3.5-hour workshop offers a friendly introduction to the essentials of watercolor painting. It’s perfect for beginners and also serves as a great refresher for those returning to the medium after time away.

We’ll focus on foundational skills like contour drawing and composition, which are key to building confidence and fluency in watercolor. Through a series of guided exercises, you’ll get comfortable with your brush, explore the expressive qualities of watercolor paper, and develop a series of small observational paintings based on a still life set under directed lighting.

All art supplies are provided — just sign up and show up!
