As we age, we encounter new challenges regarding our bodies, minds, spirits, kin and friendships. New challenges raise new questions, or old questions with more urgency:

How does the past change as we achieve new perspectives? How do we manage loss and limitation? Where do we find nourishment for our hearts? How do we rest from the stress and uncertainty of our lives, in our minds and in the world around us? Can we find grace in acceptance and gratitude?

We have also learned some things about living. We may not call ourselves wise, but surely, we are seasoned. Who wants to hear what we know? Where can we be vulnerable and open?

To address the condition of our aging is the intent and process of Graceful Aging: A Sharing Circle.

Sponsored by Unison Arts and convened by Susan and Peter Pitzele, this group is open to people of all ages, for aging is not just a matter of years, but of how we live with time and change.

We suggest a $10 donation for this event, or any amount meaningful to you; no one will be turned away for lack of funds. All proceeds help support daily operations at Unison Arts, a community arts nonprofit organization.
