Martha’s class at Unison provides step by step instruction in the Yang Style Long Form. A flowing sequence of 108 postures, this traditional tai chi form has been passed down through generations of Tai Chi Masters. It is largely practiced for health and fitness but retains the original martial arts applications. Weekly attendance is recommended because each class builds upon the previous one. Martha leads simple Qi Gong warm up exercises at the beginning of class which are designed to gently stretch the body and start opening up the channels of energy flow.
