Qigong is an ancient Chinese healing practice that helps open up energy flow in the body. Rooted in traditional Chinese medicine, Qigong has been practiced for centuries for physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. Participants will learn how to cultivate Qi (life force energy) through simple exercises that are easy to learn and can be practiced by people of all ages and abilities. Its many benefits include: increased body awareness, proper alignment, strength and flexibility; improved circulation, digestion, relaxation and focus; enhanced resistance to disease, and reduced stress and anxiety. Instructor Martha Cheo has been teaching Qigong and Tai Chi Chuan for over 20 years, and practicing for over 30 years.
