September 18 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

- $160

Local professional photographer & graphic designer, Amy Dooley is back to teach another exciting photography class series:

Nature Photography: Fall in the Hudson Valley brings wonder and beauty. Students will learn to observe natural patterns of light, color and texture to capture beautiful compositions out in nature. Focus will be on creating an image with a camera with some beginning technical info depending on the overall level of the group. There will be time for questions for more advanced students. We will be downloading and organizing our images each week. Each student will need a USB drive if they want to save their images. Students are encouraged to bring their own camera and computer with Adobe CC photography package if they want to be able to practice what they learn week to week, though this is not necessary.

For ages 10-14

$160 dollars for 6-week course includes printed photographs.

Children from the New Paltz Central School District can take the bus after school to Unison Arts Center.

If possible, students should bring the following to class:

USB Drive-so that students can take their images home.
Camera-we have a few to share but students will be able to practice what they learn week after week if they have their own. It can be point and shoot, DSLR or mirrorless. Lessons will be done using a Nikon DSLR. Please bring camera manual so functions can be looked up. All cameras are different.
Not essential but helpful-Laptop with Adobe Creative Cloud photography package. Students will learn to download, organize and edit photos using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. Having their own will allow us to get more done and allow them to practice at home. We will have a few computers available in class to share. https://www.adobe.com/creativecloud/photography/compare-plans.html
