MARC BLACK: “Life…One Song at a Time”

October 26 @ 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm

- $10 – $25

Having composed over 500 songs in his lifetime, Marc has put together a show in which he pretty much sings his life’s story.  This multi-media show reveals the heart and mind of a five year old who felt the lightening bolt that was Elvis, a high schooler suspended for his irreverent songs, a top forty band leader, psychedelicized folkster, family man, corporate tunesmith and environmental activist.  From love to love to love, its all there… singable, touching and ultimately… joyful. Marc has been inducted into the New York Blues Hall of Fame and has recorded and performed with so many legendary acts including Art Garfunkel, Pete Seeger and Van Morrison.

Life…One song at a time, an all American, rollicking confessional, is a one man, musical theater piece with a touch of multi-media.  Marc recounts his life (a bit differently each night) with stories and songs that are presented with a unique and personal style. Once you hear Marc’s songs, you can tell right away that they spring spontaneously from his life.  Sometimes serious, other times humorous, always genuine.
