Yuri Liberzon's recital was a clear demonstration of transcendent technical prowess at the service of gracious musicality.

Yuri was born in Russia and began studying classical guitar at the age of 6. In 1993 he moved to Israel to study with guitarist and composer Yaron Hasson. In 2000 at the age of 17, Yuri was invited to the United States to continue his professional studies with world famous guitarist Manuel Barrueco at the Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University on a full scholarship. He has won numerous prizes at international competitions.
