The Artists of Silvermine
Silvermine College of Art

The Silvermine College of Art was one of the best-kept secrets in arts education during the 1960's and early 1970's. It was a 3rd generation Black Mountain School experience that offered a unique, very hands on, process-oriented approach to making art. Silvermine closed in 1972 but remains very much alive in the hearts of the many artists who spent time there. This is a group show of work by many of the Silvermine students and instructors.
