"One of the best of the Django-inspired groups and certainly the most fun. Their playing exemplifies the spirit and swing of Jazz's golden age." Jack Kleinsinger, Highlights in Jazz
Jazz manouche—literally "gypsy jazz"—is the name given to a kind of music born in France in the early 1930s. For many devoted performers, the lord and master of jazz manouche was Django Reinhardt, a gypsy born in Belgium in 1910. MHC is a gypsy jazz group from the New York Metropolitan area that honors the musical legacy of the great Django Reinhardt. With Aaron Lieberman, guitar and vocals / Michael Snow, violin/ Michael Boyle, guitar / Martin Keith, bass.
We have a YouTube (Daphny) and an audio clip (Djangology, written by Django and Stéphane Grappelli).
