Jerry Teters
paintings

Jerry Teters paintings are an ongoing conversation with the abstract style of expressionism where he creates a tension with the formal elements of composition, especially color, shape and the texture of paint. Much of his work as a painter is influenced by his love of jazz and his other career as a drummer. Both music and the visual arts require many decisions concerning space and emotion. Through his painting he evokes a sense of music...through his music he evokes painterly images.

Jerry Teters has shown in many local galleries within Westchester, the Hudson Valley, and New York City.
