Hand Felted Jewelry
with Carol Cypher

Dabble in the magic of sculptural feltmaking while making a unique piece of hand felted jewelry. Learn a versatile technique for building layers of colorful, fine merino wool. Explore spirals, concentric circles, mokume gane and other surface designs. Use the age-old process of feltmaking to transform the wool into dense, firm and solid felt, using a contemporary approach. Expect to fabricate a bracelet, necklace or bangle and perhaps earrings or pendants. First-time feltmakers will be delighted and experienced feltmakers will acquire new skills. Bring a towel and a spirit of adventure.
