Floyd Patterson Jr. brings his 5 piece blues and soul band to perform a free concert at Hasbrouck Park as a tribute to the people of the community his father loved so much. One of the busiest rhythm and blues dance bands in Western Massachusetts, Floyd's band offers high energy tributes to the great soul artists of yesterday.

Based in Springfield, Massachusetts, Floyd's band has been together since 1986. The band members include Floyd Patterson Jr. — Bass/Vocals, Marquis Rowtham — Drums/Vocals, La Dawn Owens — Vocals, Keith Cooper — Keyboards/Backing Vocals and Luther Johnson, III — Lead Guitar/Vocals. Floyd Jr. has been wanting to come to New Paltz and perform at Hasbrouck Park ever since a tree was planted in his dad's honor. Prepare to dance, sing along, and wipe away a few tears in memory of one of New Paltz's most beloved residents.
