Unison Arts in collaboration with BeatTheater presents Crazy Mary by A.R. Gurney

Don't miss Marianne Matthews and Pam Tate in the Hudson Valley Premiere of the recently-penned witty, WASPY comedy Crazy Mary by one of America's greatest living playwrights.

BeatTheater's fully staged production of Crazy Mary features a stellar ensemble cast of New York City and Hudson Valley talent. This production promises to tickle your funny bone and tug on your heartstrings, too.

Crazy Mary is the hilarious and thought-provoking story of Lydia, the descendent of a wealthy Buffalo, New York family and her willful, college-aged son, Skip, who, in an attempt to account for the family inheritance, visit their long lost cousin Mary. The catch: Mary is living in an asylum, and has barely spoken in years, forcing mother and son to employ radical ends to get through. Crazy Mary premiered Off-Broadway at Playwrights Horizons in NYC in 2007, starring Sigourney Weaver and Kristine Nielsen.
